How to get better drum tracks recording
The tighter the backing track you send to the drummer, the better the drum groove will be.
Program a percussion instrument (eq.shaker) before recording individual tracks. It will help the players lock-in to the click better, thus resulting in overall better feel. This will then enable the drummer to really lock-in with the band and the click to get the track to really groove hard.
